hp korea took us to dinner at sonwon? gardens,
which is owned by grace park's father. grace
park is a famous collegiate woman golfer.
the last time grace won a tournament, her
father gave away meals for free that day.
korean bbq of course. note hot coals! |

soju is cheaper than beer (and there's 7
servings of soju in a bottle as compared to
1 serving in a can of beer). i suppose
we should have known better... |

it was tough getting on base to the military
apartments to see brad and s.y. since i
lost my driver's license. luckily they took
my hp badge which had a picture (my
passport didn't count (?) ). |

on base, the grocery store (p.x.?) looks just
like an american grocery store. i hadn't seen
one of these in a while so i had to take a
picture of the duncan hines cake mixes and
schilling spices. also bought a 2 lb bag of toll house
morsels!!! what a find!! the 4th of july decor
is a bit over the top tho... |
