Outside of the Shibuya subway station there is a statue of a dog named Hachiko. Every day Hachiko would wait outside of the station for his owner to return. One day Hachiko's owner died, but Hachiko continued to come to the station and wait every day until Hachiko himself died almost 10 years later. Now the statue to the loyal dog is a favorite meeting spot in Shibuya. A more detailed history of Hachiko.

After visiting Hachiko we went back to our hotel. This was our last night in Tokyo. Tomorrow we are taking the Shinkansen to Kyoto.
